about

"Hold On (RMX)" is a remix of the track "Hold On" which is track 9 on the album "Focal Point" (hear the original and the rest of the album by clicking the album cover shown on the right hand side of this page).

In this remix I have removed the sound bites and news commentary associated with the 2004 Tsunami. The result is the music becomes more prominent and the lyric of the song becomes more Universal.

lyrics

Despite ourselves we cannot win
No magic cream for fragile skin
When the world decides you’ve had your time
Prepare yourself to get in line

Hold on to what you’ve got
‘cos it can all go tomorrow
Hold on to every one you need
Hold on
Things can change

In spite of this we don’t give in
From sudden ends the new begins
When the world decides
To play its hand
Prepare yourself
Forget your plans

Hold on to what you’ve got
‘cos it can all go tomorrow
Hold on to every one you need
Hold on
Things can change
